A Play in Two Acts by
Rebecca Buckley

Based on the Life of Catherine Cookson (1906-1998)
Acclaimed British Novelist

Little Katie McMullen from age 13 through 91 will surely capture your heart as she did mine. She was a remarkable human being who survived the poorest and humblest of environments, and was of the many immigrant Irish families scraping for work to put food on the table in the early 1900s in northern England. It was during a physical and mental breakdown when she was 40 soon after she married Tom Cookson, that she wrote her first of 100 published novels. The life of Dame Catherine Cookson and the love of her husband, Tom, is truly a story that should be told.

The full version of the play is included in my book "Love Has A Price Tag" which can be purchased online at Amazon.com.
